The Poldark Pleasure Gardens Party at Burncoose House, Cornwall UK.
Come and join us for a night of Georgian wonder and frivolity at the Poldark Pleasure Gardens Party, Sunday 16 June 2019
What is the Poldark Pleasure Gardens Party? During the late Georgian and early Regency period, revellers would head to Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens on the South bank of the Thames, by boat, to eat, drink and be merry.
The Poldarks were no exception, as we saw in Season 4.
Come and join the last night of the Utterly Fabulous Poldark Summer House Party for fun under the stars and walks around lighted paths.
There will be music and performers, games and drinks to enjoy.
Things to thrill and places to hide!
The Poldark Pleasure Gardens Party will be held at stunning Burncoose House in Cornwall.
Burncoose is set in 30 acres of tranquil woodland gardens and has been owned by the Williams family since 1715. It has easy access to nearby towns and to some of the county’s most beautiful beaches.
Come dressed in period costume if you wish and help recreate the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens experience.
(If, as we suspect an episode of Poldark is to be screened that evening, we will suspend the party for one hour to watch it on a specially provided big screen).
Numbers are strictly limited to 200 due to parking restrictions.
Also available: Entry to the Poldark Pleasure Gardens Party including supper: £60.00 per person.
